Research Outputs
In 2021, the Global Partnership on AI chose The Alan Turing Institute to lead a project they had begun titled “Advancing Data Justice: Research and Practice”.
Since then, thanks to additional funding from the UK Government, this project has massively expanded in scope. As a result, our global research team have been able to conduct more than 120 interviews and 12 workshops across 5 continents globally.
The reports shared on this page represent the culmination of this global effort.
First, we would like to share 12 “Policy Pilot Partner Reports” each of which provide a detailed analysis of the ways in which principles of data justice may be applied in specific global contexts. These reports are followed by further research outputs produced by The Alan Turing Institute team. These consist of a state-of-the-art literature review, an annotated bibliography and table of organisations, and a repository of data justice case studies.
